Saxon Math: Lessons 60-63 on subtracting a multiple of 10
from a number using mental computation, estimating, squaring numbers,
identifying perfect squares, and simplifying expressions with exponents of

Science: Review for test on the parts of the eye and ear,
sound and hearing, and how the eye and ear works. Quiz on Thursday. *
Religion: Advent: the preparation for Jesus’ birth.
Literature: Finish reading Pocahontas and Very
Merry Christmas Tales. Journal
writing. *
Vocab./ Spelling: Vocab. Unit 5 on definitions, synonyms and
antonyms on words, completing the sentence and word associations. There will be
no Spelling Test due to the Christmas pageant and Christmas activities. *
Art: Christmas
crafts and decorations. *
Check folder for: Reminders, progress
reports, ITBS Testing results, information
for Jan., and corrected work to be filed in their 3 ring binders.
Reminders: Grandparents
Day and Lunch is Wednesday at 11:30, Christmas Pageant is Wednesday eve at 7:00
p.m., All School Mass Thursday at
8:00, and ½ day of school is on Friday!
